Favorite quote: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Favorite memory: Christmas of 2019. It was the last Christmas we had with my dad and the last time that all of my family was together before he passed away in January of 2020. We took our last family photos that Christmas. Even though he was in so much pain, he was happy everyone was together. I was so thankful to God for being able to have one last Christmas with him.

Advice to future generations: Don't compare yourself to others. Everyone is on their own unique path and life is not a competition. It is okay if you aren't doing as well in college as you did in high school. It is okay if you don't graduate in four years. It is okay if you don't attend college right after high school and it is okay for you to change your major. College can be hard and you should be proud of yourself for all the hard work you put into your classes. Be proud of all your accomplishments and remember it is your life to live and your journey to take. Also, your mental health is important so make sure to take a break from studying when you can. Don't be afraid to meet new people and join clubs and organizations on campus.
