Roswell’s six-run fourth inning erased a 4-0 deficit, helping the Invaders to a 7-4 victory over visiting Santa Fe in Pecos League action Wednesday night.
The Fuego dropped two of three games on the road trip and now have a 1-6 record away from Fort Marcy Ballpark. With just four road games remaining on the schedule the rest of the season, Santa Fe (3-12) has already clinched a sub-.500 record away from home.
The Fuego have fallen nine full games behind first-place Tucson in the Pecos League’s South Division.
Santa Fe had 11 hits but stranded 10 runners against four Roswell pitchers. Clayton Beaulieu, Steven Taft, Chris Tavares and Eric Maria each had two hits for the Fuego. Tavares drove in three of Santa Fe’s runs.
The Fuego return home to open a weekend series against Salina on Thursday.
