I didn't get my newspaper this morning. What should I do?

If your paper didn't arrive this morning, or any morning, by 6 a.m. — please call circulation at (505) 986-3010.


I can't read stories on the website or login. What should I do?

If you are on a IOS mobile device (such as an iPhone or iPad), make sure you not in "Private Browsing" mode and that your device is set up to accept cookies from third parties. You can find these different modes within 'Settings' on your device. 


What is a digital subscription? What do I get when I subscribe?

Starting April 10, 2013, unrestricted access to and will require the purchase of a digital subscription. Digital subscribers will receive unlimited access to all articles, breaking news, photo galleries, blog posts, reader comments, and archived articles via all platforms, including mobile, tablet and personal computer.

Non-subscribers may view a total of five free articles during any 30-day period. Reading more than five articles in a 30-day period will require the purchase of a digital subscription.


What does it cost?

Seven-day print subscribers receive free digital access as part of their subscription plan. Digital-only subscriptions are $11.75 per month and include unlimited access to and to Print and digital combination packages are also available starting at $16.00 per month. Our customer service department is available to assist you Monday–Friday from 6 a.m.–5 p.m. and weekends from 6 a.m.–10 a.m.


If I have multiple computers at my residence or place of work, do I need to purchase multiple digital subscriptions?

No. You will be provided a username and password to access at your residence, at work, on the go, at a library, wherever. It is this ease of access that allows our customers to obtain news and information instantly, anywhere.


What if I am an existing Santa Fe New Mexican Print Subscriber?

7-Day print subscribers are entitled to FREE unlimited access to and as part of their subscription plan. To register now for your free digital subscription, have your Santa Fe New Mexican account number handy and visit If you do not know your account number, or would like to add digital access to any other type of print subscription, please call 505-986-3010 or 800-873-3372, and a customer service representative will be happy to assist you. Customer service is available Monday–Friday from 6 a.m. – 5 p.m. and weekends from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m.


Do you have a “Free” online option?

Yes. Visitors to and may view up to a total of five articles per month absolutely free. Viewing more than five articles per month will require a digital subscription.


What can I view on the site that doesn’t count against my “free” articles?

The Pasatiempo and SFNM community calendars, business directory, classifieds and obituaries all may be viewed absolutely free, requiring neither registration nor subscription.


Can I get my local news elsewhere for free?

Many local news sites have adopted online subscription models in order to continue to make possible the gathering, production and distribution of comprehensive local news. The Santa Fe New Mexican has chosen to do this as well. There are many options today for news, but in our professional opinion, none so reliable and trustworthy as your local newspaper for local news. Newspapers employ the largest and strongest reporting forces of all news sources, and The Santa Fe New Mexican is no exception. Your subscription not only helps to sustain the daily distribution of quality information, it also helps to employ more than 150 professionals in the Santa Fe community, including journalists, artists, advertising executives, accountants, printing professionals and support staff.


What is the cancellation and refund policy?

You may cancel your digital subscription to at any time by calling our customer service department at (505) 986-3010 or 800-873-3372. Service will continue throughout the remainder of the current monthly billing cycle and will not be renewed for the following month. Partial month/pro-rated refunds are not available.
