The exhibit Grounded in Clay: The Spirit of Pueblo Pottery continues through May 29 at the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, but it’s not the only way to learn about pueblos’ rich history with clay. A 30-minute documentary of the same name will air on New Mexico PBS and stream on the PBS Video App.

In the video, residents of the state’s 19 pueblos talk about the importance of pottery in their cultures, while the camera pans in frequently to show close-ups of their colorful works. Both the exhibit and the documentary are part of a nationally traveling collaborative exhibition , developed by Santa Fe’s School for Advanced Research and New York’s Vilcek Foundation and curated by the Pueblo Pottery Collective.

4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, and 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, New Mexico PBS, Channel 5.1, newmexicopbs.org
