Modas Dance produces workshops around the United States and internationally and holds an annual summer workshop in Albuquerque. It also operates a residence training program at Santa Fe University of Art and Design, in which SFUAD theater students learn alongside non-degree students who are on campus specifically to take classes with Modas faculty. On Saturday, Jan. 28, Modas and SFUAD present Migration, an evening of diverse dance performance, at 7 p.m. at the Greer Garson Theatre at SFUAD (1600 St. Michael’s Drive, 505-473-6011). The dancers perform works by Layla Amis, Kelsey Paschich, Ekalos Reed, Gail Gilbert, and Michael Rosales, with guest artists Anne Pesata and Mariah Baker. Admission is free.
