Collaboration at the essential craft level is the thrust of Blessed Unrest, a showcase of works in progress created by Theater Grottesco of Santa Fe; the Bandelion ensemble of the Dandelion Dancetheater in Oakland, California; and choreographer Randee Paufve, also from Oakland. Blessed Unrest explores the blurry boundaries between dancers, actors, and musicians, with a theatrical framework invented by Grottesco for the dancers from Oakland and with choreography by Paufve, whose goal is to see pure movement in new ways while encouraging dancers to work with unfamiliar movement styles. Blessed Unrest is performed at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, in the Large Rehearsal Hall at New Mexico School for the Arts (275 E. Alameda St.). Tickets cost $10 in advance and $15 at the door, with discounts available. For reservations call 505-474-8400.
