Jenny Lewis is a goddess of alt rock with long red tresses who used to front the band Rilo Kiley. As a solo artist, the former child actress has released four albums, often singing of her inner life and the perils of being a woman surrounded by boys. Her new album, On the Line, is a classic breakup album, strong on storytelling and a kind of retro femininity. Lewis plays at the Kimo Theatre (423 Central Ave. NW, Albuquerque) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, with guest Karl Blau. Doors to the all-ages show open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $27-$39, 505-886-1251, holdmyticket.com.
