The Telepoem Booth Speaker Series: Celebrating Poetry, Communication, and Technology hosts a panel discussion and reading series in April, in conjunction with National Poetry Month. Readers will present poems that appears in the chapbook, telepoem booth: santa fe: collected calls. The book is available for purchase at the events. All events are free of charge.

Elizabeth Hellstern, poet and project founder; Eugenia Parry, writer; Krishnan Venkatesh, St. John’s College faculty; Edie Tsong, poet and Telepoem Booth juror. Panelists discuss the physical experience of using the phone booth to listen to poetry and how to interpret other media and communications using poetics, among other topics. This event includes sign language interpretation.
