There’s no shortage of methods and ideas to work with when it comes to the malleable medium of clay. From the purely decorative to the utilitarian, and from the abstract to the figurative, clay artists employ a variety of means and styles to realize their earthy visions. This year, the organization New Mexico Potters and Clay Artists holds its annual members’ exhibition at Santa Fe Clay Gallery (545 Camino de la Familia). The show, Celebration of Clay: Many Hands, Many Ways, was self-juried, meaning the 40 participating artists were permitted to choose their own entries — objects of which they are particularly proud to show to the public. Many Hands, Many Ways opens with a 5 p.m. reception on Friday, April 26, and is on view through May 31. There is no charge.
