New-media works from the Thoma Foundation are on display at Art House in the exhibit Mouse in the Machine. The show presents pieces that combine nature and technology and includes a video-art aquarium by Nam June Paik, computer animations generated in real time by John Gerrard and Marina Zurkow, drawings created by an artificial-intelligence machine designed by Harold Cohen, and works by Bruce Nauman, Stephen Wilkes, and others. The exhibit is in conjunction with Currents: The Santa Fe International New Media Festival, which continues at El Museo Cultural de Santa Fe (555 Camino de la Familia) through June 26. The Art House reception is Saturday, June 18, at 5 p.m.
