From the Santa Fe New Mexican:

June 14, 1919: The Flag Day program of the Santa Fe county institute at the Catron building this morning was most inspiring. There were patriotic addresses by City Superintendent F. J. Roth; Brother Benjamin L. Rios of St. Michael’s; a song by Misses Lucy Knight and Minnie Cramer, “Till We Meet Again,” Mrs. Helen Gurule, accompanist; recitation by Master Manuel Montoya; flag drill by ten girls, to the accompaniment of singing by Misses Knight and Cramer and piano by Mrs. Van Stone; and singing of the “Star Spangled Banner” and “America” by all.

June 14, 1994: Penitentiary of New Mexico Warden John Thomas said Monday he will end his sometimes-controversial tenure at the prison in early July.

Thomas, 38, is leaving the Santa Fe prison he has run since July 1992 to take a new job as deputy director of the Washington, D.C., Department of Corrections.
