Allegations of sexual abuse leveled against Yogi Bhajan in the years following his 2004 death continue to create deep divides among his followers, including members of the Sikh community near Española.

State District Judge Mathew J. Francis on Thursday granted a restraining order sought by Pritpal Kaur Khalsa, the chief executive officer of 3HO Foundation International — a nonprofit the community operates — against a man she said blames her for "problems within our community."

Francis granted the order against Dharma Singh Khalsa after the defendant failed to appear at a hearing Thursday to refute allegations he had been harassing the woman with emails, including some that referenced the sex abuse allegations.

Pritpal Kaur Khalsa provided the court emails she said came from Dharma Singh Khalsa telling her to resign over the matter.
