Nusenda Credit Union opened its third Santa Fe branch Feb. 23 at 5621 Herrera Drive, the credit union reported.

Construction on the new branch near the Walmart Supercenter and Christus St. Vincent Entrada Contenta Health Center started in late 2021 as the Albuquerque credit union started expanding after operating in Santa Fe with a single location on St. Michael’s Drive since 2009. Before that, it briefly had a branch inside the newly expanded La Montañita Co-op in 2008.

Nusenda Credit Union opened its second Santa Fe branch June 6 at the DeVargas Center in a former Wells Fargo branch at 502 N. Guadalupe St.
