This fellow is incorrect. Santa Fe is usually ranked as the third art market after NYC and LA.

Definitely not the vision the Thorpe's worked so hard for[sad]

Big corps buying out the locals.

Sure hope Auberge can invest some of that big $ back into our community!

Yes, Kelly, definitely disturbing...almost disgusting. Luring the wealthy. Can there be a triple turista tax on such High Dollar 'experiences' in our Santa Fe County? Put that $$$ into our affordable housing effort?

Elisabeth Wooster

"People are not “staying” at a hotel at Bishop’s Lodge but buying an “experience,” Volponi said."

Santa Fe isn't an experience you can buy. The Thorpes understood that.

David Gunter

Santa Fe has been an experience anyone can buy for over a hundred years now. It has been sold and marketed as such since around the time the railroad reached Lamy. Don't believe me? Just go back and start reading through old newspapers and magazines from the era.
