New Mexico's four Bed Bath & Beyond stores remain off the closure lists, even with another 87 store closures in 30 states announced Jan. 30.

Nationwide, 214 stores are slated to close. However, the Bed Bath & Beyonds at Santa Fe Place mall, in Las Cruces and the two in Albuquerque have so far avoided closure as experts predict pending bankruptcy filings for the company.

The latest round of closures included another Arizona store in Mesa, with three Tucson stores named earlier, and Colorado stores in Loveland and Thornton, with a store in Pueblo named earlier in January.
