A new HBO documentary on climate change features an interview with a New Mexico rancher and environmental activist.

Ice on Fire, produced by Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio and others, will have a segment on Don Schreiber, a cattle rancher who manages 2,000 acres of federal grazing land near Farmington.

Schreiber told The New Mexican on Monday that he was interviewed at his ranch about methane in the Four Corners area, where a number of oil and gas wells are concentrated.

Schreiber said he attended a screening for Ice on Fire in Los Angeles last week.

The documentary, according to the HBO website, “focuses on many never-before-seen solutions designed to slow down our escalating environmental crisis.”

It will begin running Tuesday on HBO at 6 p.m. Mountain Time.
