Those looking for extra work should get to know local casting director Robert Baxter. Earlier this week, he called for 50-plus extras for Longmire, and now he’s in need of more for WGN America’s upcoming series, Manhattan, a series which focuses on the creation of the atomic bomb in Los Alamos.
According to a casting notice on Projectcasting.com, Baxter is searching for a young couple that is 18 or older but looks younger, a “traditional Native American male kid,” and young women between 20-40. If you’re interested, you better send a photo of yourself along with contact info to robertbaxtercasting@gmail.com or enchantedcastingnm@gmail.com soon because the shoot is on June 16.

John Travolta, Pulp Fiction and Grease, is New Mexico bound. According to local film and TV blog, Oneheadlightink, In a Valley of Silence will shoot in New Mexico, and it features Travolta. More exciting, casting crews are searching for stand-ins for Travolta and other stars such as Taissa Farmiga, of American Horror Story fame.
Not much info is available about the film, but it’s IMDB page calls it a “revenge westerner,” which is today’s most redundant phrase. Crews are also looking for stand-ins for Karen Gillan, of Oculus, Toby Huss, of King of the Hill, and James Ransone, of Inside Man.
If you're interested, again send a photo and your info to robertbaxtercasting@gmail.com.
Ti West will direct, and his previous films include horror flicks, The House of the Devil and V/H/S, so In a Valley of Violence could feature a fair amount of gore and suspense.

If you ever wanted to live like Jane Fonda, now’s your chance. The Hollywood star is selling her 2,300 acre ranch—or as a property listing called it “Fonda’s personal sanctuary"—near Pecos for a measly $20 million.
According to a property listing, the prospective buyer would also get access to three-and-a-half miles of the Pecos River which, “provides one of fly fishing’s most rewarding experiences.” Check out the listing at swanlandco.com
