The Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe has been named one of USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards in the country for best Hotel Spas, joining hotels in Hawaii, New York, Las Vegas and Florida for honors.

“Our spa has always been a central part the experience of the Loretto,” general manager Tom McCann said in a statement. “It is an honor to be included with some of the country’s finest destinations.”

The top 10 winners in the category for Best Hotel Spa were listed on the USA Today website as follows:

1. Ritz-Carlton Spa, Orlando, Grande Lakes-Orlando

2. Kohler Waters Spa at The American Club-Kohler, Wis.

3. Ritz-Carlton Spa, Amelia Island-Amelia Island, Fla.

4. Spa at Loretto-Santa Fe

5. Spa at Encore-Las Vegas

6. Qua Baths & Spa at Omni Scottsdale Resort-Scottsdale, Ariz.

8. Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Kea Lani-Maui, Hawaii

9. Well & Being Spa at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess-Scottsdale, Ariz.

10. Peninsula Spa-New York

Spa Director Suzanne Chavez said, “Spa treatments have become less about indulging and more about relaxing into a deeply therapeutic treatment.
