Through Sept. 25, Kaune’s will present a free special pairing of food with wines, beers and spirits. There will also be wine and beer specials all day long on Wednesdays.

D.H. Lescombes Provence-Inspired Wine Dinner

6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 19; Hervé Wine Bar, 139 W. San Francisco St.; $75

As of press time, there were still a few seats available for this six-course dinner with wine pairings inspired by the eponymous Hervé’s emigration from Algeria to France, celebrating the region of Provence where he first stepped foot onto his ancestors’ homeland. The menu includes an heirloom tomato salad, beef short ribs, assorted cheeses and a lemon almond tart.

5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 20; Santa Fe Community College, Jemez Rooms, 6401 Richards Ave.; $150 ($50 is tax-deductible)

Enjoy a Champagne reception with hors d’oeuvres and a four-course culinary arts dinner with paired wines, prepared by local guest chefs with help from SFCC’s culinary arts students. Proceeds support the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Endowed Scholarship at SFCC Foundation and Cooking with Kids. Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the world’s oldest international gastronomic society, was founded in Paris in 1248 and is “devoted to preserving the camaraderie and pleasures of the table and to promoting excellence in all areas of the hospitality arts.”
