Santa Fe High tennis coach resigns after 13 seasons

Sometimes, you just know when it’s time to walk away, when it’s time for a change.

That’s what Bill Ellsworth knew, and that’s what prompted him to step down as the head coach of the Santa Fe High boys and girls tennis teams after 13 seasons. Ellsworth made it official on Tuesday when he handed Santa Fe Public Schools athletic director Leslie Romero-Kilmer his letter of resignation during spring sports evaluations.
