ALBUQUERQUE — With the Mountain West Conference men’s basketball season barely two weeks old, the league’s standings are already a mess.

Eight of the 11 teams have suffered at least two losses while the other three are undefeated. Six teams are under .500, including one of the preseason favorites, Boise State.
