Isotopes fall to Zephyrs in extra innings

After failing to score with the bases loaded and no outs of a tie game in the last of the ninth inning, the Albuquerque Isotopes gave up three runs and lost a relief pitcher to injury in the 10th during a a 6-3 loss to visiting New Orleans on Sunday night at Isotopes Park.

Albuquerque (31-39) stranded 13 runners, including a pair in the ninth when a bases-loaded double play was followed by a called-strikeout of Mike Baxter to send the game game into extra innings.
