Jackson Spingler left the assists to others Friday night in Genoveva Chavez Community Center.
Spingler scored six goals to power the Santa Fe Blue Jackets to an 11-0 whitewash of Albuquerque La Cueva in a New Mexico Interscholastic Ice Hockey League game. The first-line center's output was a season high and a career best.
Five other Blue Jackets scored, including the second-line troika of Christian Vigil, Mark Jurgens and Danny Quinn.
"When they get goals like that, that makes us even stronger," Santa Fe head coach Paul DeVincentis said of his second line.
Craig Parry and Mike Specht each scored one goal, while Parry had five assists and Specht had two. Alex Cloud-Russell recorded three assists, while Jurgens and Quinn each had one. Jordan Fuentes recorded five saves for the Blue Jackets (12-0-1). Santa Fe led 3-0 after one period and 8-0 after two.
"We're just picking up where we left off last week," DeVincentis said. "I was expecting a big score, but not 11-nothing."
Six Blue Jackets and DeVincentis will be in Taos todayfor the league All-Star game. The head coach will be joined by Spingler, Parry, Cloud-Russell and defenders Mick Gonzales and Larson Walker.
The skills competition is set for 4:15 p.m. The game begins at 7.
