Shakespeare is always in season, but this week brings Santa Feans a double dose. The Santa Fe Shakespeare Society launches a three-weekend run of its Summer Shakespeare, which this time around ushers viewers into the wacky Forest of Arden for As You Like It, directed by Jerry Ferraccio. Plan on an al fresco performance (chairs and picnic tables provided) on the campus of Monte del Sol Charter School (4157 Walking Rain Road), but be comforted in the knowledge that the show will go on — moved to an inside location — in the event of inclement weather. Performances take place at 6 p.m. on Friday through Sunday, July 18 to 20, and continue the next two weekends, through Aug. 3 (no performance July 27). Tickets ($5 to $20) are available on-site. Dogs and alcohol are not welcome. For information, call 505-490-6271. Also this week, Shakespeare aficionados will converge on the Jean Cocteau Cinema (418 Montezuma Ave.) for screenings of Henry IV, Part Two, broadcast  from the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon. The production, directed by Gregory Doran, stars Antony Sher as Sir John Falstaff, Jasper Britton as the title character, and Alex Hassell as Prince Hal. Screenings take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 19; 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 20; and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22. For information or to reserve tickets, call 505-466-5528.
