Tia Lessin and Carl Deal made a documentary that started with the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling, which opened the floodgates for unlimited corporate cash in elections, and continued through the Wisconsin political bloodbath that pitted the Republican government against labor unions. That ruckus ended with the evisceration of public unions in the Badger State and the 2012 recall effort to oust Republican Gov. Scott Walker.
