Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche play a writer and a painter, respectively, who are at low points in their careers and working as college professors. They dislike each other at first, and engage their students in a competition to determine if words or pictures are more important. No doubt the two heroes will be writing love letters and drawing little hearts by the film’s end. Rated PG-13. 111 minutes. Regal DeVargas, Santa Fe.
