It’s hard to believe nobody has made a feature film about 1950s and ’60s Mexican-American activist and labor organizer Cesar Chavez before, given his status as an icon of nonviolent resistance. Michael Peña plays Chavez in this film, and John Malkovich plays the farm owner who opposes him. Rated PG-13. 101 minutes. Some screenings are dubbed in Spanish. Regal Stadium 14, Santa Fe.
