Will Scott Chandler be Howie Morales’ Bill Ayers?

No, Chandler, who held a recent fundraiser for Morales, didn’t belong to the Weather Underground or blow up any buildings. But he and his Tierra Blanca Ranch High Country Youth Program are the subject of civil suits claiming child abuse, one of them a wrongful death suit.

Just to clarify, I see Scott Chandler as having NO resemblance whatsoever to Bill Ayers. My point rather, is that the Scott Chandler association is more likely become a problem for Gov. Martinez, than it is for Howie Morales.

No. I’d say it’s more likely that Scott Chandler will become Gov. Martinez’s Bill Ayers. Things like the rush to judgment by the state, derived from allegations of a handful of teens...The way the Amber Alert was carried out – making national news the Personally Identifiable Information of the teens in the program through their names and birthdays - forever memorializing them as troubled youth, all because they weren’t at the ranch house when authorities showed up (it's a wilderness program - designed for the teens to be in the great outdoors) - all while the teens where actually with their legal guardian or their parents. Etc.
