‘‘Gov. Susana Martinez has ushered in a whole new level of openness, and this administration is the most transparent in New Mexico history.”

That’s the basic mantra of the governor’s spokesmen whenever a reporter asks to comment about situations in which one might think the administration isn’t being very open — such as when some news organization is suing Martinez for withholding public records or when the governor’s lawyers argue that a court enforcing public records laws would be unconstitutional.

Couldn't agree more, and with Peter as well, unless he's implying that Republicans are better.
The two major parties (gangs) are the two wings of the same war/greed harpy. And that harpy does everything in its power to make sure no third party candidate gets any traction.

    Hey, Terrell,
I realize you are a "local reporter" and this is a "local" story, but how about a story on Obama's so-called "transparency" as promised repeatedly during his campaigns? It would make an interesting comparative story- or do you only go after Republicans?

Seems obvious that Martinez copied Obama's famous rhetorical claim from 2009 that His would be the most transparent presidential administration in history. Only a couple months ago, during a Google Plus “Fireside” Hangout, the Holy O had the sublime lack of self-awareness to proclaim "This is the most transparent administration in history”. It's funny how much corporate-serving Republicans and Democrats have in common when they're BS is so "transparent".
