State can do better with high-ranking physicians
Ridiculous, outrageous, yes. The Department of Health for the state of New Mexico has hired two doctors. One pleaded no contest to a felony for obtaining controlled substance by fraud having filled more than 300 fraudulent prescriptions. The other doctor’s drug abuse dates back to 1991, again in 2009 when his license to practice was stripped in Washington after he pleaded guilty to a federal felony by misrepresentation, deception and subterfuge regarding controlled substance.
