It must be so hard being a police officer. After watching the entire video I side with the police on this one. The driver was completely unreasonable and I think she's responsible for putting her children at risk.

ANOTHER "ON CAMERA" THIS TIME, EXAMPLE OF OFFICERS OVER-REACTION INCLUDING PUTTING INNOCENT PEOPLE IN MORTAL DANGER INCLUDING INNOCENT OTHERS WHO HAPPEN TO BE IN THE AREA LIKE ON COMING CARS AT 100 MPH !! DURING THE UNNECESSARY CHASE. AND FOR ONE OFFICER TO HAVE ACTUALLY SHOT AT THE FLEEING VEHICLE IS CRIMINAL, IN MY OPINION.
AND WHERE IS THE FIRST OFFICERS JUDGEMENT, FRUSTRATION TOLERANCE AND NEED TO FOLLOW ALREADY ESTABLISHED COMMON-SENSE WRITTEN PROCEDURES ? COUNTY YOUR BLESSINGS NO ONE WAS KILLED IN THIS CHILLING ENCOUNTER ! WHAT ABOUT NEXT TIME??

I think in this situation had the officer used the magic word to gain the morist's cooperation, we wouldn't be reading about this.

If he'd just said , "Will you please stop talking , and calm down? It's just a ticket...not the end of the world. So you say you don't think you've done anything wrong ? Ok fine , then I'll take that to mean you'd rather show up and tell the judge that , than simply pay the fine."

He would have then checked the appropriate box on the form, handed the ticket to her and that would have been the end of the story in all probability.

That 'lil magic word "please" would most likely have calmed her right down and so she would listen instead of talking and the officer would have better served the public rather than be instrumental in co-creating a situation that endangered it.
