California bank robbery ends in 3 deaths

STOCKTON, Calif — Three bank robbers took three screaming women hostage as they made their getaway and waged a ferocious, high-speed gun battle with police that left three people dead and cars and homes riddled with bullets, authorities said.

Two of the robbers were killed along with a hostage who police said had been used as a human shield.

    For those complaining about the 'militarization' of Police departments, I noticed that in this case, the suspects had AK 47s and that an armored tactical vehicle was ultimately used to stop the suspects. Sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire.......

    This horrifying incident seems like exactly the right situation for police officers to select their ARs instead of just their duty sidearms. What an absolute nightmare.
