Woman calls cops about burglary, gets arrested

When Antoinette Baca called the police to report a burglary at her residence, she probably wasn’t expecting to be taken off to the hoosegow herself.

I would guess it depends on what her outstanding warrant for failure to pay fines was for - BUT Jeez Louise they could have given her an opportunity to make it right.
After all there are real crimes being committed as I write. At least they actually filed her burglary report and did not dismiss it altogether!
What the heck is a "hoosegow" anyhow?

Well, that's one way Mayor Javier and his union-controlled police force can keep burglaries down; just arrest anyone who dares to report a burglary. It's really just the logical extension of Mayor Coss' plan to fine folks whose burglar alarms go off.

    [wink]
