Conservation Voters New Mexico Education Fund has launched a new website aimed at shedding light on Gov. Susana Martinez’s environmental record.

The portal contains articles, videos and documents related to public information requests made to the Governor’s Office by the group and journalists. Among issues covered on the website are changes to the oil and gas waste pit rule and recent approval of a controversial copper permit rule.

Only wish the Website had been around to witness and publicize the recent Copper Rule Hearings before the Water Quality Review Board at the Capitol ! It was nothing more than an outright GIFT by the Martinez administration to the Mining Industry i,e, A Permit to POLUTE with the Proviso that they would clean up their mess some time in the future. Don't Hold Your Breath ! And to witness the SELL OUT by our very own NM Environment Department was despicable if not treaterous. And due to outside Big Money and outside Political Pressure only makes it worse. My question is: WHO DO THEY WORK FOR ? and to think we pay their salaries ticks me off Big Time ! STAY TUNED FOR MORE as New Mexico like the rest of the Country is harvested and sold off to the highest bidder ! In this case the Mining Industry. The real question of Protecting Our Water, a public Trust was not even fully discussed !
