School board approves alternative graduation guidelines

Santa Fe’s 600 high school seniors will have some new ways to earn their high school diplomas next spring.

The school board voted 4-1 on Tuesday evening to approve the first reading of a document called Alternative Demonstrations of Competency, which proposes some different measures that would allow students to show academic proficiency and graduate.
