A group of between 60 and 70 people marched the streets of Santa Fe on Wednesday, protesting what they said was the United States’ continued support of Israel in light of recent violence.

The Associated Press has reported that more than 680 Palestinians and 34 Israelis have been killed in the latest spate of bloodshed in a region often marked by violent skirmishes. Much of the violence has come in the past week after Israeli forces crossed into the Palestinian area of Gaza to defend against missile strikes coming across the narrow border into Israel.
