MARKET: FIRST DAY Indian Market draws thousands for award-winning works, bargains

The 92nd annual Santa Fe Indian Market got off to a fine start Saturday morning, with thousands of people weaving their way through hundreds of booths filled with traditional and contemporary Native American arts and crafts.

“Should we go down this way?” a disoriented woman asked her husband near the Plaza obelisk.
