It’s no secret that part of Republican Gov. Susana Martinez’s re-election strategy is to peel off the normally high vote for Democratic candidates among predominantly Hispanic communities in Northern New Mexico.
And one way her campaign has tried to do that is by enlisting the help of local Hispanic leaders who happen to be registered Democrats.
