The Men’s NCAA Tournament starts this week, and it is sure to fuel the myth that size matters.

In truth, the basketball tournament is a shining example of the all-American work ethic. Nobody knows this better than Nick Pino, who owns an insurance agency near the Santa Fe Plaza.

    Nick was a great player,but more importantly he was and is a humble and true gentleman. We played against each other in little league, even then he was a kind,generous and positive individual....be well my friend.

    Great story! Nick is one of the first great stars to come out of our city and I am glad he is being remembered.
