What's the latest on the new "Bite"? Has it opened yet?

In addition to their established customer base, with all the state buildings nearby and of course the tourists, I don't see how they could possibly fail.

Gonna miss that little sweat box with the dirt parking lot but I am so happy that these wonderful people were able to roll with the punches and come out smelling like..... a freshly cooked green chili burger!!! I will gladly walk a few blocks to support one of Santa Fe's new old businesses. I hope (know) the burgers are just as juicy, that the beer is cold and that I can finally get a side of fries!!!!
Methinks those who will not be mentioned made one hell of a bad decision and a critical mistake but like Napoleon said "never interrupt an enemy when they are making a mistake" and they surely made a big one.
    Rock on John and Bobbie.

I don't think "The Bite" has anything to worry about. The location is just fine and they're going into it already a legend! As with anyplace downtown parking is always a problem, but I'm sure locals and tourists alike will gladly walk a couple of blocks for one of the ten best burgers in the country! I'm looking forward to trying out the new menu items as well. One of their burgers with a cold beer? Nirvana!

I started visiting Santa Fe in the 1980s and moved here 14 years ago. I recall [and have eaten at] numerous restaurants established at Garrett's Desert Inn, all of whom have failed for one or more reasons. i have never figured out whether it's the location, the management, or some other factor, but it does not seem to be the best place in town for a restaurant. I hope the Eckres can reverse this trend.

Never ate at the Bobcat bite so don’t know what that was all about, but this could be good!
