City’s historic board approves Paseo home development

A small, residential development downtown that pushes the limits of what is known as “Recent Santa Fe Style” is planned for a lot on the north side of Paseo de Peralta east of Washington Avenue.

The city’s Historic Districts Review Board late Tuesday approved the plan for four homes on a once-sloping lot that was leveled five years ago and a precast concrete retaining wall installed to stabilize an adjoining hillside.

    This story would be more valuable if drawings of the development were included.
