Campaign aims to draw state's 200K uninsured

The countdown has begun. If you don’t know about the state’s insurance network kicking off in 13 days, get ready to learn about it. The New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange is launching a massive, statewide campaign aimed at encouraging uninsured residents to sign up for coverage starting Oct. 1.

Media ads in English, Spanish and Navajo will begin this week in a comprehensive effort to reach the 200,000 New Mexicans who don’t have insurance. The marketing agency BVK of Milwaukee unveiled the key strategies of its “Be Well” campaign Tuesday at an Albuquerque news conference.
