New Mexico’s next gubernatorial election is still more than a year away, but already, many political watchers here and across the country have written off the contest as safely in the Republican column.

That’s bad news for Democrats as they struggle to define — and find — the perfect candidate they believe can oust Republican Gov. Susana Martinez from a seat that early poll numbers suggest is hers to lose.

Democrats should consider bringing back Bill Richardson back for a third term. He is the only one who can give Martinez a heck of a race for her money. Bill is very personable and can relate well to the base and would do tremendously well in Albuquerque and in El Norte. With his charisma and great personality, he is the only one who can make the most decent race and possibly defeat Martinez. Bill knows where the essential money sources for running a campaign are at. He can also attract millions and millions from out of state to fund his campaign helping other democrats getting elected. He has hundreds and thousands of contacts throughout New Mexico and the nation. Though Bill was accused of alleged misconduct during his last term nothing was ever proven and charges were never filed. He also has tremendous experience at he the national and international level! How about in Democrats? If We want to retire Martinez as governor, We should bring back the man who can do it. I am convinced that anybody who is somebody would favor Bill Richardson for a third term. ARRIBA Y ADELANTE CON BILL RICHARDSON FOR A THIRD THERM!

The correct word for King is comatose.

The Democrats need someone new, intelligent, and hard-working who has repudiated the corrupt Santa Fe County Democratic Party.

Carl Trujillo has a chance. He is the Democrats' only chance.
