Former customers of “El Dentista,” a man who police say worked in Santa Fe as a mobile dentist without a license for at least five years until his arrest last weekend, are beginning to come forward and sharing painful stories.

Santa Fe police say five people have alleged they were victimized by Eliver Kestler, also known as Eliver Lopez. Kestler, 36, was practicing dentistry without a license for at least five years in Santa Fe, said police public information officer Celina Westervelt.

1.He was UNLICENSED making it ILLEGAL(you know AGAINST THE LAW) to treat people.
2.He could not have been following proper sterilization procedures to his equipment because he was carrying his equipment around in dirty and unsanitary cases-did you even look at the photos of his equipment?!YUUUCKY
3.He placed many many people in danger of contracting not only infections but other communicable diseases such as Hepatitis, and HIV.
4.He took advantage of his patients need for treatment by falsely representing himself as a licensed dentist.
5.He was using/administering controlled substances to patients again WITHOUT A LICENSE (also ILLEGAL).

yup--sounds like an A+ healthcare provider to me

Michelle, if you were 'lucky' enough to have been treated by this whacko i suggest you have yourself tested for HIV & Hepatitis and get seen by a licensed dentist to be sure the 'work' he preformed on you isn't going to come back to haunt you in the future.

If it wasn't removed, why was it, stashed away, hidden, burried, what ever you want to call it? When I click on Local news, you have articles that go back to 4-21-13. The original article on Eliver was 4-22-13. As of 4-24-13, I noticed it wasn't under up anymore. Unless one were to remember the guys name and search your paper for the original article or asked you for the link, there's no proof that this actually took place. The reason I'm pressing the issue is this paper's unapologetic bias toward illegal immigrants or those precieved to be. So my accusation is that, your bosses burried is.
Question, why was it not included in the Local news section, two days after and now one needs to request a link to the story?

This is exactly the kind of entrepreneur Santa Fe's status as a "Sanctuary City" attracts.

Is Undocumented Dentist one of the 4,000 jobs Coss promised to create?

I think this is ridiculous! He obviously helped out a lot of people! Why 5 years later is this man being accused. Is it because the snitch didn't want to pay for his new teeth? I think his clients that enjoyed his work should come out and stand by his side. There is always two sides to a story. Why must we judge and bring up racist or sarcasm comments?
