A small amount of diesel fuel leaked into one of Santa Fe’s municipal reservoirs and into the river late Friday afternoon.

City water staff and the city contractor responsible for the spill were working to clean it up Friday and Saturday, according to Nick Schiavo, the water utility director.

Clearly, there has been much more water release going on since this particular incident! This was very visible yesterday, on Tuesday, when exploring the SF Canyon Preserve! Lots of water is spilling out in both directions, through the Bypass Channel as well as SF River new/original channel.
    What exactly is going on??

    “flippin’ idiots”

My thoughts exactly! What other contaminants are in our water supply that we do NOT know about?
