So the posts are meant to be a love letter to the editor? If Santa Feans were gushing over him and the paper, maybe the publication would be more solvent. We all know that the paper is downsizing. I guess being so political and pro-illegal isn't working so well. Again, you'll remove my comment because you folks can not handle the truth.

I came to Santa Fe as a reporter for The New Mexican in 2004 because Rob Dean offered me an opportunity. I'd never been to Santa Fe before moving here, nor had I ever been to New Mexico. But there was something about Rob's voice and interest in the town he covered that compelled me here from California. Working for Rob for more than seven years, I developed the highest level of respect for him as a professional and as a compassionate, wise and caring man. Rob has been an asset to both The New Mexican and the community. I wish Rob Dean nothing but the absolute best. Thanks for everything
