A rainbow flag will wave over City Hall on Friday in celebration of gay pride.

Mayor Javier Gonzales, who came out as a gay man last year, will raise the pride flag at 8 a.m. to "celebrate June as Pride month for members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (gender identity/expression) (LGBT) communities," the city said Thursday in a news release.
