The final residential home sales numbers posted each year by Alan Ball of Keller Williams Santa Fe Realty are now live. For 2013, the city and county of Santa Fe had 1,757 residential sales — a 7 percent increase from a year earlier and the highest volume of sales since 2007.

The average sales price was almost flat and lower than many recent years. At $423,472, it reinforces the fact that more homes are selling in the under $300,000 range and there is still some distressed inventory working through the market.
