Rockies to play at Isotopes Park

The defending National League wild card winner Colorado Rockies will play a pair of games at Isotopes Park during spring training.

The Rockies will play the American League's Seattle Mariners on April 2 and 3.

Tickets are currently being sold exclusively to Isotopes season-ticket and mini-plan holders at Isotopes Park. The general public gets its crack at the tickets
Feb. 20. Prices range from $25-$65 for single game tickets or two-game packages.

"We are thrilled to be able to bring these two teams to fans throughout the state of New Mexico," said Isotopes general manager John Traub.

Blue Griffins top Bosque School in squeaker

It wasn't the prettiest of starts to a season, but the result couldn't have been any sweeter for the Santa Fe Preparatory girls basketball team. A 3-pointer from 5-foot-2 freshman Olivia Cicci with a little more than a minute left in overtime proved to be the game-winner in a 22-21 Blue Griffins win over visiting Bosque School, a team that beat Prep by double digits twice during the 2008-09 season.

"I'm very excited about tonight and this season," said head coach Anika Amon, in her second stint running the Prep program. "I think we have a lot of potential this year, but we're a very young team."

Prep was led by 10 points by its lone senior, forward Annai Burrola.
