Santa Fe Pink

The New Mexican’s cancer support and treatment guide is a valuable resource for cancer patients, survivors and everyone who cares for them. Included in the book are a story about the annual fundraising walk sponsored by the Santa Fe branch of the American Cancer Society (Go Team Lab Rats!) and an overview of the recent merger between New Mexico Cancer Care Associates and Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. The basic cancer treatment options—chemotherapy, radiation and surgery—and clinical trial opportunities are reviewed, as are treatment locations in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Seven pages of local resources, Department of Health screening recommendations and tips from cancer survivors complete the book.
